What should I expect when ordering?

At Maisy's Market, we take great pride in each and every unique piece of solid wood furniture that we sell. The furniture that is handcrafted and finished by our team is built using solid wood that is distressed and has a reclaimed look. Given the handmade and hand finished nature of the products we craft, variations and imperfections in the wood should be expected and celebrated! Just as every tree is unique, so too is every piece of furniture that is handcrafted and hand finished just for you. Every piece of furniture will have a unique grain pattern and slight color variation as a result of the grain pattern.

Other characteristics of handcrafted, solid wood furniture include knots, visible brush strokes, micro-imperfections and textural variations in the durable, hand brushed finishes, unique distress marks, exposed screws, wood filler marks, and other imperfections.

Solid wood may expand and contract due to changes in temperature and humidity. This means that the gaps between the boards of a traditional table top may get wider over time and need to be cleaned. This natural movement enhances the one of a kind beauty of solid wood, handcrafted furniture. It does not affect structural integrity and is not considered defective. We do not offer machine manufactured perfection - no two pieces are exactly alike since Maisy's Market furniture is crafted to your order specifications. We celebrate the true uniqueness of every piece of solid wood furniture that is built and finished by hand in our woodshop.

How do I care for my furniture? All of our products are sealed, so no special care is necessary. We recommend cleaning with a mild soap and water.

How long will it take to build our furniture? Currently, we are averaging a 6-8 week turnaround time on pickup orders. Delivery orders will vary depending on when we will be in your city. Visit our delivery/shipping page to find out when! ** Due to COVID-19, we are experiencing prolonged delays. Contact us for updated timeframes.

What is a breadboard? A breadboard is a perpendicular end-cap set at each end of the table. You can find pictures of tables with and without breadboards under our products page.

What is your furniture return policy? Every piece of Maisy's Market furniture is custom built and/or finished to order, therefore it is not re-sellable by Maisy's Market. Our return policy only covers product defects and items damaged during transit. In the event that your order has a defect or is damaged during transit, Maisy's Market will replace or repair the items as long as the damage is properly noted upon delivery.

Our furniture is built by hand which gives it a rustic/distressed look. Any characteristics of handmade furniture should not be considered defects. Wood is a natural material and can contract and expand, gaps between boards may occur during different seasons throughout the year. All chairs are hand finished by hand and will match the rustic/ distressed look of our tables. Due to different wood types and characteristics, chair and table stains may not be an exact match but will compliment each other nicely. Chairs will have one coat of satin polyurethane for easy cleaning.

All deposits and sales are non-refundable.

***Any promotional gift cards (gift cards purchased at a sale rate, won in a contest, or received without exchanging money for said gift card) are limited to one per use on furniture purchases, one promo gift card per table or table set including benches and chairs. Items purchased individually are subject to separate shipping charges*

*GIFT CARD WINNERS: If a gift card is won in a promotion or giveaway, the following terms apply in addition to all other gift card terms.

For $500 gift card promo dated 3/30/19- IN-STORE ENTRY IS REQUIRED. ONE ENTRY PER PERSON. Valid on dining table purchases only. Expires one year from issue date. Only valid on full price items and can not be combined with any other offer, sale, or discounted item. Can not be used in conjunction with any previous gift card that was purchased during a gift card sale or promo. Valid to the drawing winner only and can not be sold for cash or traded for goods/services. Selling this gift card to another party renders it void and will not be reactivated. We reserve the right to make changes to this policy at any point.
For promo gift cards (gift cards won in a giveaway, during a contest, or not purchased i.e. free gift cards): We reserve the right to terminate gift cards and their balances at any point in time. These gift cards are not to be sold for cash and will be terminated immediately if so. Promo gift cards remain active for one year from issue date and then will expire.
